University Fellowship Opportunities

The family education program at the University of Minnesota invites applications for the $10,000 BAS-Knorr Family Education Graduate Fellowship for new Master of Arts and doctoral students. Please note the primary application deadline is December 1, and a second deadline is March 15.

The family education program at the University of Minnesota is one of the premier programs preparing family educators and researchers at the doctoral level who:

* teach, conduct research, and advocate for families in a critically reflective manner.

* establish an educational environment that enables individuals to think critically and reflectively about the family both as an individual unit and as a societal institution.

* support families in developing their capacities to create and evaluate goals and alternative solutions to the problems of everyday life, and assume responsibility for consequences of their decisions for the global society and environment.
